CONCEPT
In Sicilian dialect, it literally means "heard," indicating that the words of the subject in question have such weight that they never fall on deaf ears. "That one is intìso" — it is said — to keep them at a distance (as in the case of Verre) or, on the other hand, to have them as a friend. Intìso is a form of appreciation for an elegant, intense, and enveloping wine.
